This is a special invitation for you to join us on a trip to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, June 17 -22. TRIP ITINERARYJUNE 17 - Welcome: After your arrival, check-in at the Huntington Hotel, on fashionable Nob Hill. We will host a private reception for our guests in the hotel before taking a cable car down to our welcome dinner at Farallon, a Michelin-starred restaurant notable for its seafood, near Union Square.
JUNE 19 - Wine Country: Travel to Napa Valley to visit two distinguished wineries. Hess Collection is widely known for being at the forefront of sustainable winegrowing practices, and has established the “Napa Green” program for wine facilities. After a tasting of its top wines, you'll visit their world-class art gallery of works assembled by Donald Hess, one of Art News’ Top 200 collectors. Then we'll travel to Inglenook considered Napa’s first great winery, now lovingly restored by the film director Francis Ford Coppola. Enjoy a private lunch and hear an exclusive performance by the acclaimed Cypress Quartet. We'll return to San Francisco on a ferry tour through San Francisco Bay with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower and other sites.
JUNE 21 - The Glories of Asia & The Rite of Spring: Visit the Asian Art Museum across from the grand, domed City Hall for a private tour of highlights. Lunch is on your own and your afternoon free. We'll meet that evening to visit Davies Hall for a performance of Stravinsky’s great The Rite of Spring, led by Maestro Tilson Thomas. We conclude the day with our Farewell Dinner at Perbacco, one of San Francisco’s finest Italian restaurants. JUNE 22 - The tour ends after breakfast and flights back to Charlotte.
