Ted Weiner is a WDAV veteran who has been on the WDAV airwaves since November 1986, when he arrived in Charlotte from the Big Apple and began working as a weekend and fill-in announcer. He became WDAV’s Music Director in 1991 and has been choosing the music we hear ever since.

A longtime student of the French horn, Lauren Rico holds a master's degree from George Mason University. She has been on the airwaves in Tampa, FL; Washington, DC; Austin, TX, New York City, NY and Charlotte, NC - she hosted WDAV's Mozart Café from 1997 - 1999. Rico has also graced the national airwaves as a host on Classical 24, Minnesota Public Radio's nationally syndicated classical music service.
