It’s back to Tanglewood for a gala concert celebrating the festival’s 75^th season. The Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, and Tanglewood Festival Chorus will all appear, along with conductors John Williams, Keith Lockhart, David Zinman, and Andris Nelsons, and soloists Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, Peter Serkin, James Taylor, and Anne-Sophie Mutter. The program will be wide-ranging and will include works by Tanglewood legends including Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein. Fred Child of Performance Today and Ron Della Chiesa, the “broadcast voice” of the Boston Symphony, are the co-hosts.
