Holiday Edition: The Best of Christmas Past
Holiday Special

The holiday season brings warm memories and this edition of Carolina Live shares some musical memories from seasons past. We open with Corelli's famous Christmas Concerto performed by the Winston-Salem Symphony. The centerpiece of the program comes from the chorus Renaissance of Charlotte, NC and their Christmas in the City concert from 2011, with choral music ranging from the 16th century to the present. Then it's over to Monroe, NC for the highlight of a 2010 holiday program featuring the Union Symphony and Holiday Chorus. The program closes back in Old Salem for another performance by the Winston-Salem Symphony and soloist of the joyous Alleluia by Mozart.
