The Campagna Society of Artists will hold their inaugural exhibition and sale during historic downtown Salisbury's Holiday Night Out on Friday, November 23rd from 5-9pm. The Campagna Society of Artists is a group of professional artists based in the Salisbury-Concord-Albemarle area. As their first public event, members of the group eagerly anticipate this opportunity to introduce their organization to the NC piedmont community. This group, founded in late 2011, grew out of lone studios in to a fellowship of accomplished, working, and exhibiting professional artists—framed with the mutual delights of friendship. The Society started with lunch, breaking bread together, and this fellowship continues as the primary focus of the group. In those early lunches, the group reflected on the history of art-making in personal terms and shared experiences, always searching for new insights. The group did not have a particular agenda or image or method, but rather a desire for fellowship.
