Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and Jacomo Rafael Bairos, conducting | PROJECT Trio
Ever heard a flute beat-box? The engaging members of PROJECT Trio return to the Charlotte Symphony, putting their spin on the classical music experience. This exciting program features Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony theme with a modern twist along side other orchestral favorites like Rossini's William Tell Overture and Brahms' Hungarian Dance.
Pre-concert festivals begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Knight Theater Lobby; children explore music through hands-on activities including a lively drum circle, music-related arts and crafts, and The Symphony Guild of Charlotte’s “Musical Petting Zoo.” Plan to stay after the concert to participate in Family Day at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art from noon - 4:30 p.m. Free for children, $4 for adults.
