  • Every pipe organ has a unique character and collection of sounds. In this third of six recitals, you will hear two instruments: the Skinner Organ, Opus 712, 1928, and the Fisk Organ, Opus 131, 2004. Skinner organs typically have a lush, Romantic sound, and this one is an exceptional example, described by one listener as “smooth as liquid velvet.” The Fisk has a completely different character, but is equally impressive: its pipes sing as though a choir of eloquent voices. Program presented by Brent Neuenschwander. Free to the public.
